PUBLIC SERVICES FOR REAL ESTATE MARKET AND EUROPEAN INTEGRATION
The Project generally aims at capacity building in the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs and the Republic Authority for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs Republic of Srpska for preparing, storage and sharing geographic information, supporting capacity building for the real estate registration and for increased access to geographic information with an aim to respect European integration requirements named in the European Union INSPIRE Directive.
The Project included following components:
- Procuring and installing software and equipment for conversion of analogue plans into digital form
- Developing and installing a workflow system for support the conversion and storage of data and documents, including a solution for registration of similar metadata that are prepared in accordance to the International standards and European Union INSPIRE Directive
- Procuring and installing of hardware and software for safe storing of converted plans and maps, as well as for storing of orthophoto data that are prepared using the EU funds
- Procuring and installing additional hardware necessary for preparation and safe storage of geographic data and real estate data
Considering the lack of necessary budget funding, the current Project, which ends at the end of 2017, could only support the project implementation first phase in entity geodetic administrations of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The first phase is currently being implemented and expected to be finalized by the end of December 2017.
Recognizing the need for the Digital System improvement and expanding it on municipalities, the entity geodetic administrations made aProposition of the new Project funded by the Kingdom of Norway donor funds. The Proposition is related to the continuation of current Project of Public services for real estate and EU integration, which will also cover the activities on improvement the GNSS reference stations- FBiHPOS.
The digital archive system will ultimately ensure that all land administration documentation is archived and protected in a long term, as well as made available whenever needed by users, internal, external, including citizens.
