XI REGIONAL CONFERENCE ON CADASTRE AND SPATIAL DATA INFRASTRUCTURE IN CITY OF BUDVA

XI Regional Conference on Cadastre and Spatial Data Infrastructure was held in City of Budva on 30-31 May 2018. The Conference program included several presentations about administrations/agencies for cadastre and cartography of Western Balkan Countries (Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia, Kosovo, Albania, Macedonia and Bulgaria), presentations about regional and international projects (Lantmäteriet, the Swedish mapping, cadastral and land registration authority; Kartverket, the Norwegian Mapping Authority; The Netherlands' Cadastre, Land Registry and Mapping Agency ,Kadaster; JICA, Japanese Agency for international cooperation, EuroGeographics and UNGGIM).

Within this Conference was also held the IMPULSE project Steering Committee. Main topic of this meeting was the draft on Memorandum of cooperation between administrations/agencies for cadastre and cartography of Western Balkan Countries. After the constructive discussion and accepted suggestions, members of the Steering Committee have accepted the text. It was concluded that the text needs to technically refined, and signing is in September 2018.

On behalf of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs was Mr. Željko Obradović, Director, Mrs. Slobodanka Ključanin, IMPULSE project national coordinator for Federation of BiH, and Mr. Sead Hadžić, CILAP project consultant in Sector for cartography, land consolidation and survey.

Next Regional Conference will be held in Bosnia and Herzegovina in June 2019, hosted by Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs.
