WORLD BANK SUPERVISORY MISSION

Representatives of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Property Affairs held a meeting with representatives of the World Bank on April 4, 2022 in Sarajevo as a part of the monitoring mission. The topic of the monitoring mission is the review of the Real Estate Registration Project (RERP) Additional Financing (AF). The meeting was organized in a hybrid format.

During this mission, the World Bank team will meet with representatives of the implementing agencies, namely the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Property Affairs and the Republic Administration for Geodetic and Property Affairs. Through these meetings, the World Bank team will review progress with the implementation status of project activities under the AF, including the status of the project restructuring process, make a review of progress on key issues identified during the previous mission in October 2021 and check the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the implementation of project activities. As part of the mission, a joint meeting of World Bank representatives with representatives of the Federal Ministry of Finance and the Federal Ministry of Justice is also planned.

Additional funding (AF) was approved by the World Bank Executive Board on March 5, 2020. Under the AF, the Project goal remained the same, supporting the development of a sustainable real estate registration system with harmonized land registry and cadastral records in urban areas and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Republic of Srpska.
