Workshop within Component 5: Support to development of ICT and Geoinformatic´s system

A three-day workshop on "Development of plans for period 2016 - 2019" in period May 10 - 12, 2016 in Sarajevo was organized by CILAP project (Capacity Building for Improvement of Land Administration and Procedures in BiH), which is carried out with the help of Kingdom of Sweden donor funds in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Representatives of entity geodetic administrations on this occasion gave a presentation of the current situation related to ICT and geoinformation systems, which served as basis for creation of future activities and definition of needs for support within CILAP project. Plans for support of establishment and development of ICT and geoinformation systems are developed according to the needs of both Administrations for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs, and upcoming project activities related to the development of the Address Register, Sales Price Register and the Digital Archive.

The workshop was very successful led by consultant Mr. Tobias Lundberg, an employee of the Swedish Geodetic Administration - Lantmäteriet, which on this occasion also gave a very interesting presentation on the establishment of a Digital Archive, and a very relevant and timely information regarding digital and software technologies market have been presented to all participants.

During the workshop joint session with CILAP workingroup project which is responsible for improving methods of internal and external communications has been organized, and ways in which IC technology can support the implementation of the action plan were discussed.
