WORKSHOP WITHIN COMPONENT 5 OF THE CILAP PROJECT “SUPPORT TO THE ICT DEVELOPMENT AND GEOINFORMATIC´S SYSTEM”

A two-day workshop was held in the premises of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs during 10-11 October 2017 in Sarajevo.

Representatives of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs on this occasion have presented the current situation related to developed ICT, geoinformation systems and maintenance of same, which served as basis for creation of future activities and definition of needs for support within CILAP project especially for plans in Year 2018. The following topics were considered:

  • Service Oriented Architecture integration and continuation of SOA roadmap and detailing   some of the services that are crucial for development during 2017 – 2019 in line with FGA ICT strategy
  • Overview of development and recommendations for improvement of FGA core IT systems
  • Overview of status of technical support within FGA for FGA IT systems;
  • Interoperability of different Government registers (Swedish examples and standards)
  • Hardware overview at FGA  and guidelines for future development
  • Support to Virtualisation and upgrading of FGA data centre
  • Centralized Logging and Event Management

Plans for support of establishment and development of ICT and geoinformation systems continue to meet the needs of both Administrations for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs, and upcoming project activities related to the development of the Address Register, Sales Price Register and the Digital Archive.

The workshop was led by consultant, Mr. Tobias Lundberg, employee of Swedish Geodetic Administration - Lantmäteriet who also gave very interesting presentations on the pilot implementation of “block chain” technology in the Kingdom of Sweden and Georgia, interoperability and connection of state registers in Sweden, monitoring of virtualized server environment, data security, etc. The workshops were attended by Mr. Marko Puljić, Mr. Nedim Hadžiosmanović, Mr. Enes Hatibović and Mr. Denis Tabučić on behalf of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs.
