Workshop within CILAP project component 4: Support for the development of geodetic infrastructure and methods

A workshop within the component 4 of the CILAP project: Support to the development of geodetic infrastructure and methods was held on November 11-12, 2019 in Banja Luka. The workshop was conducted by the CILAP technical advisor Mr. Seho Zimic and attended by members of the working groups from the Republic Authority for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs (RGA) and the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs (FGA).

Within the workshop, the following were discussed:

• Status of works on NVT3-RS benchmark stabilization
• Activities on the project for RS gravimetric survey
• Status of works on NVT3-FBiH leveling measurements
• Reconciliation of benchmarking at the entity border
• GK6 transformation parameters in ETRS89
• Activity plan for the CILAP project phasing out

Short-term activities were agreed:

• Completion of the revised project of the RS gravimetric survey
• Start of works on a gravimetric survey of RS with the support of the Norwegian and CILAP project
• Exchange of trigonometric points coordinates for grid transformation for RS and FBiH
• Adjustment of numbering for the NVT3 benchmarks

The following activities were planned within the CILAP project phasing out:

• Mass seminars to promote the new reference system
• Workshops that will describe in more detail: How to implement a new reference system, Computing geoids and geoid models, sharing experience in applying geoid models
