WORKSHOP REGARDING COMPONENT 6 OF THE CILAP PROJECT “SUPPORT TO THE DIGITAL ARCHIVE ESTABLISHMENT”

During period 12-14 September 2017 in Laktaši a three-day workshop regarding Component 6 “Support to the establishment of digital archive” was held by CILAP project, which is carried out with the help of Kingdom of Sweden donor funds in Bosnia and Herzegovina. A workshop was organized in cooperation with the Norwegian project "Public services for the real estate market and European integration", within whose activities an IT system of Digital archive for both Entity Geodetic Administration in Bosnia and Herzegovina is developing. The aim of the workshop was to present the current situation of the Digital archive system development and to harmonize the final activities.

The workshop was attended by the representatives of both geodetic authorities, representatives of selected pilot locations (Gradačac and Laktaši), representatives of contractors for development of IT Digital archive system, experts from Lantmäteriet namely Mr. Tobias Lundberg and Mr. Torbjörn Porsander, Mrs. Maria Lodin, project manager of the Norwegian project and CILAP project director Mrs. Andja Zimic with associates.

On the first day of the workshop, the representatives of geodetic authorities have presented the activities undertaken to establish a digital archive, as well as their experiences gained through cooperation with contractors regarding development of the IT system for their administrations.

During the second day, the contractors presented their solutions of IT systems at the current stage of development. After that, a discussion took place in which all participants were actively involved, giving their views on the presented solutions and activities needed for the completion of final IT systems of digital archive. On the last day of the workshop, the remaining activities were discussed in detail and agreed with Mrs. Marija Lodin, project manager of the Norwegian donor project.

A common conclusion is that the contractors in cooperation with both geodetic authorities have done an excellent job in the past period, which guarantees the successful completion of the development of IT solutions in the foreseen deadlines.
