Workshop on Development of Strategic Business Plans (Vlašić, 15 and 16 September 2015)

In the organization of CILAP Project (Capacity Building for Improvement of Land Administration and Procedures in BH), a two-day workshop on development of strategic business plans for the purposes of the entity-level administrations for geodetic and real property affairs was held on 15 and 16 September 2015 in Hotel Blanka (Vlašić). This workshop was attended by representatives of the two entity-level administrations, led by their Directors, representatives of the CILAP Project, and guests from Lantmäteriet (the Swedish geodetic authority). In the workshops that were held during 2014, strategic business plan development methodology was agreed with the help of the Swedish experts, which was the basis for drafting entity-level strategic business plans. The objective of development of these plans is to analyze the existing organization, products, and services, and to identify user needs, while their adoption will enable development of detailed development plans. One of the fundamental documents for strategic business plan development is Draft Land Administration Sector Policy and Strategy, which was agreed by the two entity-level administrations and represents a framework national document for the land administration sector in BH.

The representatives of the two entity-level administrations presented their draft plans, which was followed by a discussion on the materials offered, and concrete proposals were made, which will be used to improve the drafts offered. Also, the next steps in the final strategic business plan development were defined.

During the workshop, final presentation of the Strategy of the New Reference Systems was also made and the document was officially handed to the two entity-level administrations.

At the end of the workshop, satisfaction was highlighted with the current status of preparation and implementation of the crucial projects in the land administration sector, resulting in the data that are of interest to the broader community.
