Workshop held in Slovenia within the DELEF project

As part of the implementation of the Swedish donor project DELEF "Digital improvement of land management for the EU future of Bosnia and Herzegovina", a Working Group for Mass Real Estate Assessment - visited the Republic of Slovenia from December 2 to 4, 2025. The study visit was organized with the aim of strengthening professional capacities and transferring knowledge in the field of mass real estate valuation.

During the three-day visit in Ljubljana, a specialized workshop was held led by Mr. Dušan Mitrović and Mr. Martin Smodiš, experts from the Geodetic Administration of the Republic of Slovenia (GURS) with many years of experience in real estate valuation. The workshop was conceived through a series of presentations, analytical sessions and discussions, which enabled intensive exchange of knowledge and practical experiences.

The topic of the workshop was an introduction to the information system for analytics and modeling (ISAM), an advanced technological solution developed by GURS for the needs of mass real estate valuation. ISAM enables the use of market data, the creation of analytical and value zones, and the preparation of value models. Workshop participants discussed in detail the steps required to prepare and implement a similar system in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Discussions included the analysis of existing real estate price registry data, data quality standards, and the functionality of the future ISAM system in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The steps necessary to prepare the specification of the system for the analytics and modeling of mass real estate valuation in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina are currently being developed. The study visit to Slovenia represents an important contribution to building a modern mass real estate valuation system in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, based on international practices and advanced technological solutions.
