22.10.2025 10:38

A workshop focused on planning activities within the DELEF project was held in Trebinje from October 20 to 22, 2025, organized by the Republic Authority for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs. The workshop brought together representatives from the entity geodetic administrations and Lantmäteriet, the project’s technical partner.

The aim of the workshop was to align the plan for 2026 with the provisions of the Project Implementation Agreement and Sida guidelines. The progress of the project implementation so far was reviewed, confirming that activities are proceeding according to the planned schedule, with no need for major adjustments.

The DELEF project is aimed at improving land administration and spatial infrastructure in Bosnia and Herzegovina through digital transformation, capacity building, and the application of European interoperability standards. The project is being implemented through four components:

  1. Overall Capacity Development – strengthening the institutional, professional, and technical capacities of geodetic administrations;
  2. Support to Mass Valuation – development and testing of valuation models and standards;
  3. Support to Spatial Data Infrastructure – improvement of interoperability, standardization, and spatial data sharing;
  4. Support to Geodetic Infrastructure – modernization of reference systems and improvement of geodetic data quality control.

The workshop concluded that the planned activities for 2026 will contribute to further strengthening institutional capacities and successfully achieving the strategic project goals, with continued technical support from Lantmäteriet and Sida, and close cooperation among the entity geodetic administrations.
