Working visit of EuroGeographics representatives

Mrs. Sallie Payne Snell, Head of Operations and Association Management and Mrs. Patricia Sokacova, Membership and Communications Manager have visited the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs on 17-19 February 2020. Representatives of the Administration led by Director, Mr. Zeljko Obradovic presented current projects and activities, available accommodation and congress facilities and the Project plan for the upcoming EuroGeographics General Assembly in Sarajevo current year.

The EuroGeographics General Assembly will be held in Sarajevo on 4-6 October 2020, after Wiena on 2017, Prague on 2018 and Manchester on 2019. The Assembly is an event that brings together the leadership of all relevant European mapping and cadastral agencies, as well as representatives of other European organizations that have significant influence in the field of geoinformation sector. Eurogeographics is an unprofitable organization who represents national, cadastral and cartographic European agenciesss, gathers 64 agencies as their members, from 44 countries from European region.

The EuroGeographics General Assembly in Sarajevo is a great recognition and honor for the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs, and a unique opportunity to promote Bosnia and Herzegovina and its values.
