WORKING VISIT OF EUROGEOGRAPHICS REPRESENTATIVES

Due to the pause caused by the outbreak of the SARS-CoV-2 virus pandemic, The EuroGeographics General Assembly will finally take place in Bosnia and Herzegovina during the period May 15 – 17, 2022, after Wiena on 2017, Prague on 2018 and Manchester on 2019. The EuroGeographics General Assembly is one of the most important events in the calendar of the sector dealing with geospatial data management, and a great recognition for the Federal Administration for Geodetic and real Property Affairs and a unique opportunity to promote Bosnia and Herzegovina and its values.

On that occasion Mrs. Léa Bodossian, Secretary General & Executive Director EuroGeographics, Mrs. Sallie Payne Snell, Head of Operations and Association Management and Mrs. Patricia Sokacova, Membership and Communications Manager have visited the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs on 13-14 February 2022. An insight was made into the accommodation, congress and other facilities that will be available for the General Assembly, and the project plan was discussed in detail. All present expressed satisfaction that finally the EuroGeographics Assembly will continue its tradition of bringing together the management of all relevant European cartographic and cadastral agencies, and representatives of other European organizations that have significant influence in the field of geoinformation sector.
