WORKING MEETING WITH REPRESENTATIVES OF THE SWEDISH INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT COOPERATION AGENCY AND SWEDISH TAX ADMINISTRATION

A working meeting with an aim to define a scope of project activities within approval phase of the new donor project of Kingdom of Sweden to the institutions of the land administration sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina, was held in premises of the Federal Geodetic Administration on March 28, 2023. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Federal Geodetic Administration led by Director, Mr. Željko Obradović, representatives of the Republic Geodetic Authority of RS, as well as representatives of Lantmäteriet, SIDA and Swedish Tax Administration.

The main challenges of new development and donor cooperation have been identified in the following areas:

• Capacity building of institutions
• Real Estate Mass Valuation
• Spatial Data Infrastructure
• Development of geodetic infrastructure

The proposal for a new project and cooperation is planned for a 5 years duration and it is planned to be launched in the first half of 2023. The project should ensure tangible results regarding the land administration improvement, with full respect for democratic procedures, contributing to the fulfilment of conditions necessary for EU integration of BiH and UN sustainable development goals.
