Visit to Čapljina municipality

Representatives of the Federal and Cantonal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs namely, Mr. Željko Obradović, director, Mr. Goran Brkić, assistant director and Mr. Ivan Lesko, director of the Cantonal Administration have visited the Municipality of Čapljina and held the meeting with Dr. Smiljan Vidić, Mayor and Mr. Darko Šimović, assistant for geodetic and real-property affairs.The topic of discussion was the implementation of the project "Real Estate Registration " - RERP, the establishment of the Address Register and certain property issues.

In Capljina a pilot project regarding harmonization of cadastral and land registry data is implemented. For that reason offices for municipal cadastral service are renovated and furnished and soon is expected the renovation of the land registry office.

Harmonization of data for additional four cadastral municipalities are in progress which will contibute to more upadated data on real estates in the Municipality of Capljina.

Thanks to donor CILAP poject, address register software applications have been developed after wich address register project is made for the territory of the Municipality of Capljina with co-financing of Municipality, Cantonal and Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real - Property Affairs. The next step is the adoption of the relevant municipal council decisions and the realization of the Project.

Satisfaction with the cooperation regarding expropriation for Vc Corridor highway construction in the Municipality of Capljina was emphasized.

Čapljina is a Municipality with a recognizable concern regaring space and accurate and reliable data on real estates will create conditions to attract investment and faster economic development.
