VISIT OF THE FEDERAL MINISTER OF JUSTICE TO THE FEDERAL GEODETIC ADMINISTRATION

A meeting of the Federal Minister of Justice, Mr. Vedran Škobić and Director of the Federal Geodetic Administration, Mr. Željko Obradović, was held in premises of the Administration on March 11, 2025.

Director Obradović presented activities and upcoming projects planned for the current year, as well as the results of implemented projects. It is known to the public that Federal Geodetic Administration and Federal Ministry of Justice jointly implemented the Real Estate Registration Project. The Project achieved remarkable results, especially when it comes to the benefits for the citizens of the Federal of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the state and investors. The implementation of activities on systematically harmonization of real estate data between the land registry and cadastre has created a completely new framework for the real estate market, as well as for the overall economic development of the Federation of BiH. Thanks to the Project activities, a total of 1,693,740 owners and co-owners have registered their real estate, while the total number of all land registry entries in the electronically land registry of the Federation of BiH is 2,431,401, of which 61.8% is based on the new cadastral survey, compared to 33.3% at the beginning of the Project implementation.

As the implementation of the Geospatial Infrastructure and Valuation Enhancement Project (GIVE) financed by the World Bank, begins soon, it was agreed to continue active cooperation in the implementation of planned activities.
