Understanding the ECOSOC review process for UN-GGIM

A webinar designed exclusively for the Heads of EuroGeographics member organizations (directors) of cadastral and cartographic agencies was held on January 19, 2022. The topic of the webinar is understanding the ECOSOC review process for UN-GGIM.

This is particularly interesting, because this UN-GGIM is required to report back to the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) on ‘Strengthening institutional arrangements on geospatial information management’.

Introductory presentations were given, among others, by the Mr. Colin Bray, President of Eurogeographics, Mrs Ingrid Vanden Berghe, the President of UN-GGIM, Mr. Tomaž Petek, the Director of the Surveying and Mapping Authority of Slovenia and Mrs. Susanne As Sivberg, the Director of the Swedish Surveying and Mapping Authority.
