TWENTY-NINTH SESSION SPATIAL DATA OF THE FEDERATION OF BIH COUNCIL HELD

The twenty-ninth session of the Spatial Data of the Federation of BiH Council (SDI FBiH Council) was held in the premises of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Property Affairs on June 21, 2022. The members of the Council participated in the session in accordance with the Decision of the Government of the Federation of BiH.

At the session, the Council have discussed:

1. Determining the Agenda of the 29^th session of the SDI FBiH Council;
2. Approval of the Minutes from the previous 27^th session of the SDI FBiH Council;
3. Implementation of activities for the establishment of the SDI according to the Work Plan for 2022 (inclusion of stakeholders, presentation of new harmonized sets, improvements of SDI applications, ongoing tenders);
4. Information for the session of the Government of the Federation of BiH and the proposal of the Decision on the development of the updated strategic document of the SDI FBiH;
5. Signing of a contract for the design phase of a new development cooperation project (Swedish donor project);
6. Information on the EuroGeographics Assembly held in Sarajevo;
7. Information on the Regional Conference in Slovenia;
8. Information about FIG;
9. Other:

- Development of digital orthophoto plans of FBiH

- LiDAR recording of the territory of BiH

The Federal Administration for Geodetic and Property Affairs, as the Coordinating Body of the SDI FBiH, worked intensively on the implementation of the activities of the adopted Work Plan on the establishment, maintenance and development of the SDI FBiH for Year 2022. The activities related to the improvements of the SDI Register and Metadata Catalog in order to improve user performance and interoperability were presented to the members of the Council.

In addition, the Coordination Body prepared tender documents for conducting public procurement of services related to:

• development of ETL procedures for harmonization of spatial data of the FBIH with the INSPIRE directive;
• providing a technological platform for editing, harmonizing and sharing SDI FBiH data;
• creating and designing the visual identity of the FBiH IPP;
• Development of an updated strategic document of the SDI FBiH and the establishment action plan.
