Tomislavgrad Council Supports Duvanjsko Polje Land Consolidation Project

The Director of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs, Željko Obradović, and Assistant Director Sead Hadžić visited the Municipality of Tomislavgrad on the occasion of a session of the Municipal Council, where one of the agenda items was the “Conclusion on Launching Activities for the Preparation of the Conceptual Land Consolidation Project for Agricultural Land in the Duvanjsko Polje Area.”

During the session, Director Željko Obradović presented the current projects and activities implemented by the Federal Administration, with particular emphasis on those being carried out in the Municipality of Tomislavgrad. He highlighted that the commitment of the Mayor and the Municipal Department for Geodetic and Cadastral Affairs is a key prerequisite for the successful preparation and implementation of land administration projects and activities. He also pointed out that, thanks to its continuous efforts to improve cadastral records and real property data, Tomislavgrad ranks among the more successful municipalities in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in this field.

Assistant Director Sead Hadžić provided a more detailed presentation on the purpose of preparing the Conceptual Land Consolidation Project for agricultural land in the Duvanjsko Polje area. He emphasized that the project represents the professional, technical, organizational, and financial basis for the Municipal Council’s decision to implement land consolidation and for its systematic execution. The Conceptual Project is expected to address key issues, including the justification for land consolidation, the scope of the project area, the implementation timeline, deadlines, and financing.

The Municipal Council of Tomislavgrad unanimously adopted the Conclusion on launching the preparation of the Conceptual Land Consolidation Project. On this occasion, the Mayor of Tomislavgrad, Ivan Buntić, emphasized the importance of land consolidation in the Duvanjsko Polje area as one of the key prerequisites for the further development and improvement of agricultural production. He also underlined the successful and continuous cooperation between the Municipality of Tomislavgrad and the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs in the implementation of joint projects.
