THE WORLD BANK SUPERVISORY MISSION TO THE FEDERAL ADMINISTRATION FOR GEODETIC AND REAL PROPERTY AFFAIRS

The World Bank's Supervisory Mission together with the Food and Agriculture Organization-FAO Team, is visiting Bosnia and Herzegovina, within which in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is staying in the period from 8 to 10 May 2018. The World Bank's Supervisory Mission leaded by Mr. Camille Bourguignon, in the premises of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs were welcomed by the Federal Minister of Justice Mr. Mato Jozić, Director of the FGA Mr. Željko Obradović as well as Manager of the Unit for Real Estate Registration Project in FBiH Mr. Nedžad Pašalić.

The purpose of the visit is to review the implementation of the Real Estate Registration Project, monitor the progress of the implementation and review the upcoming activities in continuation of the successful implementation of the Project. Special attention was given to the harmonization of data between the cadastre and the land registry in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Mission is also focused on the maintenance and improvement of the land registry system, that is, the Strategy of Information and Communication Technology for Land Registry and Real Estate / Land Cadaster in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the period 2018- 2028 Year for which the tender was announced. This activity includes both institutions, Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs and the Federal Ministry of Justice.

In this period, the Mission will visit the Municipal Court in Travnik, the Land Registry Office, in order to inspect the field activities on the harmonization of data on real estate between the cadastre and the land registry. The meeting in the municipal court will also be attended by the authorities from the municipalities of Travnik and Busovača.

Members of the Supervisory Mission of the World Bank will hold more thematic meetings with the representatives of the institutions of the Federation of BiH and the Unit for the implementation of the Real Estate Registration Project in FBiH by the end of their visit.
