THE WORLD BANK SUPERVISORY MISSION

The representatives of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs held several meetings with the World Bank representatives in period of 30 October to 4 November 2022.

Topic of the supervisory mission was monitoring of the Real Estate Registration Project (Additional Financing) progress in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. All activities have been realized according to the planned dynamics and it was expressed satisfaction with the conducted public procurements for main project activities and planning of signing contracts for main activities.

During the Project implementation, there was a significant increase in the number of land registry entries based on the new cadastral survey. Currently, 57.9 % of land registry entries are based on the new cadastral survey, a total of 1.433.922 owners and co-owners have registered their real estate and protected its rights to it, which also improved the preconditions for secure legal real estate transactions and the overall economy development.

At the end of the meeting, it was expressed big satisfaction with achieved results and given support to the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs for further realization of strategic goals especially harmonization between land registry and cadastral data, as well as finishing of information systems.
