The representatives of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs held several meetings with the World Bank representatives in period 19-21 April 2021, as well as final meeting on 20 April 2021 within the World Bank supervisory mission. Due to the circumstances caused by covid-19 pandemic, all meetings were held via electronic communication channels.
Topic of the supervisory mission was monitoring of the Real Estate Registration Project (Additional Financing) progress in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. All activities have been realized according to the planned dynamics. It was expressed satisfaction with the conducted public procurements for main project activities and with planning of signing contracts for main activities.
During the Project implementation, there was a significant increase in the number of land registry entries based on the new cadastral survey. Currently, 55.9% of land registry entries are based on the new cadastral survey compared to 33.3% at the beginning of the Project implementation. A total of 1.087.658 owners and co-owners have registered their real estate and protected its rights to it, which also improved the preconditions for secure legal real estate transactions and the overall economy development.
It was also discussed the possibility of Project extending after the 31 July 2022 which is the currently defined completion of the project.
At the end of the meeting, it was expressed big satisfaction with achieved results and given support to the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs for further realization of strategic goals especially of the harmonization between land registry and cadastral data, which is a priority activity.
