THE TWENTIETH SESSION OF THE FBIH SPATIAL DATA INFRASTRUCTURE COUNCIL

The twentieth session of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Spatial Data Council was held via electronic communication channels on 29 October 2020. The Council members discussed the following agenda items:

• Adoption of the minutes from the nineteenth session of the SDI Federation of BiH Council
• Information about the Spatial Data Infrastructure Law
• Information about the activities of all Working Groups since last session
• Information about new member in Working Group for technical standards: ETL procedures
• Information about SDI FBiH data harmonization - information and online presentation
• Development of the SDI FBiH Geoportal- information and online presentation
• Other: -Information about the project activities

-          Information about canceling of the SDI FBiH days 2020 caused by Covid-19 pandemic

-          Information about the expiration of the mandates of the Council members

-          Plans for upcoming period

Special attention was devoted to presentation of developed possibilities of the SDI Geoportal which is developed and tuned for the representation of the multiple data set.

The present Council members expressed satisfaction with progress made since last session and gave support in technical preparations for further data publishing on SDI FBiH Geoportal, and invited other institutions (the SDI FBiH subjects) to make additional efforts for data standardization and availability within its jurisdiction, with support of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs.

The presentations regarding SDI FBiH activities and FGA projects were also presented to the members, and the session was concluded with the discussion on future planned activities.
