THE THIRTIETH SESSION OF THE SDI FBIH COUNCIL

The thirtieth session of the Spatial Data of the Federation of BiH Council (SDI FBiH Council) was held in the premises of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Property Affairs on August 30, 2022. The members of the Council participated in the session in accordance with the Decision of the Government of the Federation of BiH.

At the session, the Council have discussed:

1. Determining the Agenda of the 30^th session of the SDI FBiH Council;
2. Approval of the Minutes from the previous 29^th session of the SDI FBiH Council;
3. Implementation of activities for the establishment of the SDI according to the Work Plan for 2022:
1. improvements of SDI applications,
2. planned trainings with SDI stakeholders and involvement of them,
4. Information on the adoption of the of the Decision on the development of the updated strategic document of the SDI FBiH;
5. Information on support for SDI as part of a new development cooperation project (Swedish donor project);
6. Information on the request to initiate the procedure of creating obligations based on the external debt for the Project for the Spatial Data Infrastructure of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina;
7. Information regarding the workshop in Albania related to SDI in the region- exchange of experiences;
8. Information regarding the planned conference SDI Days in FBiH;
9. Other.

The Federal Administration for Geodetic and Property Affairs, as the Coordinating Body of the SDI FBiH, worked intensively on the implementation of the activities of the adopted Work Plan on the establishment, maintenance and development of the SDI FBiH for Year 2022. The activities related to the improvements of the SDI Register in order to improve user performance and interoperability were presented to the members of the Council.

In addition, the Coordination Body planned to hold a workshop/working meeting on the topic "Establishing cooperation with SDI stakeholders. Accordingly, four workshops are planned this Year related to capacity building in the field of spatial data infrastructure. The main goal of the workshop is to familiarize stakeholders with the SDI Law of FBH, as well as their active involvement in the establishment and functioning of the SDI. During the workshop, data entry into the SDI registers will be presented and guidelines will be given for future cooperation with experts on behalf of Coordination Body.
