The President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Meets with the Director of the FGA and Representatives of Geodetic Associations to Discuss the Organization of the 1st FBiH Geodetic Days

The President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Lidija Bradara, met today with representatives of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs and representatives of geodetic associations in the Federation of BiH regarding the organization of the 1st FBiH Geodetic Days of the Federation of BiH, which will be held from 24 to 26 April 2026 in Neum. The meeting was attended by Željko Obradović, Director of the Federal Administration, Sara Mihaljević, President of the Geodetic Society of Herceg-Bosna, and Ferid Durmišević, President of the Citizens’ Association of Geodetic Profession “Geodet” from Tuzla.

The organizers emphasized that this is the first gathering of the geodetic profession at the level of the Federation of BiH, with approximately 300 participants expected from all parts of the Federation. The event aims to strengthen professional cooperation, the exchange of knowledge and experience, and further affirm the importance of the geodetic profession within the system of spatial planning and real estate administration, through expert lectures, panel discussions, and presentations of modern technological solutions.

President Bradara accepted the patronage of the 1st FBiH Geodetic Days and stressed that a well-regulated cadastre and land registry system form the foundation of legal certainty and represent a prerequisite for any serious infrastructure and investment project, as well as for the development of local communities and the Federation as a whole. The meeting also addressed current legislative solutions, the need for further digitalization and technical modernization, including stronger integration of cadastral and land registry data, as well as continued alignment with European standards.

The President noted that the Federal Administration and geodetic associations represent an example of quality institutional cooperation and professional dialogue, contributing to system stability and strengthening the trust of citizens and investors. The participants expressed their belief that the FBiH Geodetic Days will become a traditional professional gathering and an important platform for the exchange of experience and the development of modern solutions in the land administration sector in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
