THE EIGHTH SESSION OF THE FBiH SPATIAL DATA INFRASTRUCTURE COUNCIL

The eighth session of the FBiH Spatial Data Infrastructure Council was held in the premises of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs on 20 November 2017. At this session Council members discussed the following agenda items:

-       Adoption of the minutes from the VII session of the FBiH SDI Council;

-       Working Group for Institutional and Legal Issues

-       Working Group for Technical Standards

-       Register of subjects of Spatial Data Infrastructure and Register of Spatial data sources

-       Working group for communication and SDI capacity building

-       Current issues.

This session was attended by Council members of the competent institutions, as determined by the FBiH Government decision.

Mr. Željko Obradović, the FBiH SDI Council President presented the Spatial Data Infrastructure flyer, made by representatives of the Federal Geodetic Administration.

Mr. Goran Brkić, the working Group for Institutional and Legal Issues President, presented group activities and draft version of the FBiH Spatial Data Infrastructure Law. Information about the Working Group on Technical Standards activities was presented by Mr. Nikola Cvjetković, Working Group President. Mrs. Slobodanka Ključanin presented the activities on data collection in Register of subjects of spatial data infrastructure and Register of Spatial data sources.

On this session, Council members made a Decision to form the Working Group for Communication and SDI FBiH Capacity building.

Adoption of the Work Report for 2017 is planned for the next Council session, that is planned for December 2017.
