As part of the SPATIAL II project, the Agency for Land Administration and Cartography of the Netherlands (Kadaster) hosted the employees of the Federal Geodetic Administration (FGA) of Bosnia and Herzegovina on a study visit in Zwolle from April 15 to 16, 2024.
The FGA delegation was headed by prof. Dr. Slobodanka Ključanin, while Mr. Ervin Redžepagić participated online. During the visit, the main topics of discussion covered the creation of topographic maps, data collection and processing methods, generalization and visualization, and data quality assurance.
The visit also provided insight into the latest technologies and practices in the field of aerial photogrammetry, LIDAR surveying, 3D modeling, artificial intelligence, and similar. The advantage of providing data through public web applications and services is particularly highlighted, which makes it easier for the general public and end users to access information.
This study visit represents an important step in strengthening cooperation between the Netherlands and Bosnia and Herzegovina in the field of geodetic administration and cartography, and will contribute to the improvement of professional knowledge and the exchange of experiences between these two countries.
