Study Visit to Lantmäteriet within the DELEF Project

From September 1 to 5, 2025, as part of the implementation of the project "Digital Enhancement of Land Management for the European Future of Bosnia and Herzegovina" (DELEF) and within the component regarding geodetic infrastructure, a study visit was held to the Swedish Mapping, Cadastral and Land Registration Authority – Lantmäteriet.

During the visit, meetings were held with Swedish experts, focusing on activities related to:

• Geoid modeling,
• Improvement and quality control of the FBIHPOS,
• Other activities related this project component.

The completion of geoid development (modeling) and its implementation into the FBIHPOS system is planned for the following year. This will improve the accuracy of geodetic measurements in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

At the end of the visit, further steps in project implementation were agreed upon, and planned activities for the year 2026 were defined.
