Signing of the Agreement for the Address register system establishment for the Municipality of Centar Sarajevo

For the purpose of joint implementation of address register establishment project Municipality of Centar Sarajevo, the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs and CILAP project have signed Agreement for the Address register system establishment on November 16th, 2015. The agreement was signed by Mr. Dževad Bečirević, mayor of Municipality of Centar Sarajevo, Mr. Željko Obradović, director of Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs and Ms. Andja Zimic, CILAP project director. RUGIPP On this occasion FGA Director and Director of CILAP project expressed their gratitude to the Mayor for his understanding and willingness to cooperate in a mutual interest.

Next steps will include conversion of existing data, installation of application for the establishment and maintenance of the Address register and training for its usage, procurement of equipment and providing of regular data replication to the central database of the Federation BIH.

The final goal of the CILAP project is the implementation of a unified system for managing of address register in the city/municipal administration, which will enable the regulation of this area and resolution of many problems associated with the work of local and central administration. The development of a fully operating address system is one of the very important prerequisites for the establishment of well functional and organized society.
