Signing of Cooperation Agreement between the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs and University of Mostar, Faculty of Civil Engineering

The Cooperation Agreement between the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs and the University of Mostar, Faculty of Civil Engineering was signed by Ms. Maja Prskalo, Dean of the University and Mr. Zeljko Obradovic, Director of the Federal Geodetic Administration, in premises of the University of Mostar on 9 October 2020.

The Cooperation Agreement establishes partnership relations between the Faculty of Civil Engineering - Study of Geodesy and Geoinformatics and the Federal Geodetic Administration in the field of science and higher education in the way that Administration organizes teaching classes and professional practice for students and teaching staff, within their capabilities and by connecting practice, science and research work.

Prof.Dr.Sc. Maja Prskalo emphasized the importance of supplementation of theoretic and practical knowledge as well as the need and readiness for joint action for achievement the quality of educational and professional work. She used the opportunity to thank the Federal Geodetic Administration for the improvement of teaching, professional practice, monitoring of students and improvement of new technologies for the knowledge and skills transfer.

Mr. Obradović pointed out that the signing of the Cooperation Agreement expresses the intention and desire to implement and encourage cooperation in areas of mutual interest, interest of the wider community and introducing the public to education in the area of land administration, geodesy, cartography and geoinformatics in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Federal Geodetic Administration is also planning to sign this type of Cooperation Agreement with University of Sarajevo, Faculty of Civil Engineering - Study of Geodesy.
