Seminar "Address Register - the concept, experiences and benefits” was held

In the organization of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs and as part of CILAP project implementation (Capacity Building for improving land administration and procedures in Bosnia and Herzegovina) a seminar entitled Address Register - the concept, experiences and benefits was held on September 22, 2016 in Tešanj. The main objective of the Seminar was to inform stakeholders with experience of Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs gained during establishment of Address Register primarily through the implementation of CILAP project.

Welcoming speeches at the opening of the seminar was held by Mr. Željko Obradović, director of Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs who also have presented current and future activities of the Administration in the field of establishing of Address register and with activities in other areas. In the introductory part of the Seminar attendees were also addressed by Ms. Anđja Zimić, CILAP project director, and Mr. Suad Huskić, Mayor of Tešanj.

The data usage of Address Register in Sweden, examples of the process of establishing Address Register in certain municipalities of the Federation BiH and in Republic of Srpska were presented. The Seminar is intended for all those who participate in activities related to addresses respectively representatives of local self-government, as well as representatives of other agencies and ministries of state and entity levels of government. On this occasion, Mr. Ivan Kvesić, a consultant of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property, engaged through CILAP project, gave a presentation regarding the establishment of the Address Register in Herzegovina-Neretva Canton.

Due to current topic of interest on this Seminar were about 100 registered participants, and in addition to the Director, Mr. Nedžad Pašalić, director assistant in Geoinformatic Sector and head of the implementation project RERP, and Mr. Denis Tabučić, employee of Geoinformatic sectors and CILAP project coordinator, were also present on behalf of Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs.
