SECOND WORKSHOP WITHIN „SPATIAL REGION“ PROJECT

A second workshop within „SPATIAL REGION“ project was held in Mostar from 3 to 5 April 2018. Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs hosted this workshop, and participants were from Agency for Real Estate Cadastre from Macedonia (AREC), Republic Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs of RS (GARS), Central Office of Immovable Property Registration from Albania (IPRO), State Authority for Geospatial Information from Albania (ASIG) and Real Estate Administration of Montenegro (REA).

General Director of the Federal Geodetic Administration Mr. Željko Obradović and General Director of the Republic Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs of RS Mrs. Bosiljka Predragović opened this workshop with their presentations. Mrs. Paula Dijkstra also welcomed participants on behalf of Kadastre, the Netherlands Geodetic Administration, with short brief of project activities so far.

„NSDI and INSPIRE“ was topic of the workshop, and participants have met with the spatial data infrastructure condition in neighbouring countries through presentations, exercises, and exchange of experiences and information. Representatives presented the governance, Ministry responsible for NSDI, implementation costs, technical aspects, Law, how well the staff was educated, data users and data availability.

Mr. Haico van der Vegt and Mr. Dorus Kruse presented the vision of Kadaster regarding the NSDI and INSPIRE, and together with the participants changed opinions about it. After that were held a SWOT analysis of each administration regarding spatial data infrastructure. Next workshop will be hosted by the Kosovo Cadastral Agency (KCA).
