The FBiH Government have adopted Regulation on Public display of data regarding survey and cadastral classification of land, at the 77th regular session, held on November 10, 2016 in Sarajevo. It is known that work related to public display of data was discontinued due to war conflicts in BiH. At that time activities on display of data were carried out on a large part of Bosnia and Herzegovina territory. After the war, these jobs are continued on a smaller scale, in accordance with available material and human conditions.

Imposing the Law on Land Registry Books by the Office of the High Representative in BiH, during Year 2002, this activities have been definitely suspended and not resumed until today. Termination of activities related to public display had significant effects in local self - government’s territories that have carried out this activities before the war. Especially difficult condition is in the local self – government territories that have so called “Census Cadastre”.

Capacities of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs are strengthened in the last few years, and activities regarding systematic harmonization of cadastre and land registry data within the Real Estate Registration Project (RERP) have started. With implementation of this Project position of those local self-governments becomes more unfavourable, and they lag behind even more.

In order to prevent this and in terms of current internal capacity Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs have decided to develop this Regulation to allow public display of data regarding survey and cadastral classification and thus to assist to these local self - governments.

Meetings and discussions with representatives of these municipalities and preparations for implementation of the Regulation are following activities. Certain activities in the process of public display are expected next Year.
