REGULAR ANNUAL ASSEMBLY OF THE ASSOCIATION “GEODET”

The regular annual assembly of the Association of Citizens of Geodetic Profession "Geodet" was held on October 4, 2025, in the municipality of Doboj Istok.

After the introductory addresses by the guests, the President of the Association, Mr. Ferid Durmišević, presented the annual report on the Association’s activities, particularly highlighting the good cooperation with other geodetic societies in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the idea of organizing a Day of Surveyors of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He also presented the financial report for the previous period and the work plan for the upcoming period.

At the beginning of the working part, the Director of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs, Mr. Željko Obradović, held a presentation on the activities of the administration, and emphasized the importance of inter-institutional cooperation, cooperation with local self-government units, as well as with geodetic societies and the academic community, with the goal of more efficient preparation and implementation of projects in the land administration sector.

The Assistant Director, Mr. Sead Hadžić, gave a presentation on the current status of the Law on Survey and Property Cadastre. He emphasized that the text of the Law has been aligned with the comments and suggestions provided during the public debate and expressed the expectation that the Law will soon be on the agenda of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

On behalf of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs, the Assembly was attended by Director Mr. Željko Obradović and Assistant Directors Mr. Sead Hadžić and Mr. Denis Tabučić.
