A regional meeting ” Land Administration as a Tool for Climate Change Adaptation and Disaster Risk Management” was held in the World Bank headquarters in Vienna, Austria on April 26-28, 2023. The target groups who attended this meeting was cadastre and mapping agencies from the Western Balkan region.
After the welcome and opening remarks by Mr. Christoph Pusch, World Bank Practice Manager, the introductory presentation on “Geospatial Data to Support to Climate Change Adaptation and DRM: Global and Regional Perspectives” was held by Mr. Tomaž Petek, UN-GGIM Europe Chair of the Executive Committee.
The FGA Director, Mr. Željko Obradović, participated at the moderated discussion “Trends in Land Administration, Geospatial Information and Climate Change Adaptation”, while Assistant Director, Mr. Denis Tabučić, held a Presentation on the Use of Data for Climate Change Adaptation, DRM. On behalf of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs, at the meeting also attended Assistant Director, Mr. Sead Hadžić.
