Presentation of the Real Estate Registration Project to FBiH attorneys

Goals, activities and results of the Real Estate Registration Project were presented on the seminar organized by Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs and Real Estate Registration Project Unit in Sarajevo on 22 November 2018.

Director of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs Mr. Željko Obradović opened this seminar and presented main project activities related to harmonizing data between cadastre and land registry books in 255 cadastral municipalities, project results achieved so far and emphasized the importance of these results and the effects on the creation of a sustainable real estate registration system, especially in urban areas.

Mr. Nedžad Pašalić, Head of the Real Estate Registration Project Unit presented 3 project components: Development/update of data for real estate registration, Development of real estate registration infrastructure and Policy Development, Institutional Development and Project Management.

Ways of preparing data and documentation for harmonizing data between cadastre and land registry books presented Mr. Muris Ajanović, consultant for cadastre.

Mr. Dino Aličić, Head of the Land Registry Office in Zavidovići presented the establishment/replacement of the land registry books, and presented in detail the legal foundation and the establishment/replacement process, also he mentioned the relevant regulations about the Land Registry Law- the way of proof, the determination of facts and real property rights, and the practice so far from the standpoint of the participants in the proceedings.

Present attorneys from the Federation of BiH expressed their satisfaction with this seminar, with the notion that more seminars need to be held on the same or similar topics.
