PRESENTATION OF THE FEASIBILITY STUDY OF NEW ARCHITECTURE AND SOFTWARE FOR FBIH LAND REGISTRY AND CADASTRE INFORMATION SYSTEM

A presentation of the „Feasibility study of new architecture and software for FBIH land registry and cadastre information system „ was held on 30 May 2022 in premises of the Federal Geodetic Administration. The Document was presented by Mr. Zdravko Galic, a professor engaged within the Real Estate Registration Project- Additional Financing, and representatives of the Federal Ministry of Justice, Office of Legislation and Federal Geodetic Administration participated.

The task of the consultant was to evaluate different options and propose the architecture, data model and database management system of the FBIH cadastre and land registry integrated information system and all in accordance with ICT Strategy. The land registry and cadastre information systems were observed from all aspects relevant for their functioning, such as legal framework, architecture system, human resources, hardware, software, data and their connection and data exchange, not only internally but also with external systems. The financial costs necessary for the system establishment and maintenance have also been estimated, as well as sustainability and high availability, which should be an important aspect for proposing the future of the information system architecture.

After the presentation was also held an appropriate discussion among the participants, and the meeting was used to discuss other topics of common interest of the Federal Ministry of Justice and the Federal Geodetic Administration.
