Presentation of the „Baseline study“ within the „ Feasibility study of new system and software architecture of land registry and cadastral information system“

Presentation of the „Baseline study“ within the „ Feasibility study of new system and software architecture of land registry and cadastral information system“ was held in premises of the Federal Geodetic Administration on 23 November 2021. Mr. Zdravko Galic, consultant engaged by the Real Estate Registration Project- Additional Financing was presented the document, and on presentation participated Mr. Mato Jozic, Federal Minister of Justice with his associates and ,Mr. Zeljko Obradovic, director of the Federal Geodetic Administration with his associates.

The consultant’s task was to evaluate various options and suggest architecture, data model and database management system of integrated Land registry and Cadastral information system of Federation of BiH, all in accordance with the ICT Strategy. Information systems for cadaster and land registry will be observed and analyzed from all aspects relevant for functioning, such as legal frame, system architecture, human resources, hardware, software, data and their interconnectedness and exchange data, not only internal but also with external information systems ( personal data register, register of business entities, address register etc.). The financial costs necessary to set up and maintain the system should be an important aspect for proposing the future architecture of the information system.

After the presentation was held an appropriate discussion among the participants, and the meeting also served to discuss other topics of common interest of the Federal Ministry of Justice and the Federal Geodetic Administration.
