The final Conference on achieved results of the project “Land Administration and Management Project (LAMP) in Montenegro" that is financed by World Bank credit funds was held in Budva (Montenegro) on February 26, 2016.
The Project aim was to improve the efficiency in the process of spatial planning, permitting and property registration. Expected benefits will accrue from:
(a) increases in property market activity, including considerations of property value and the impact of increased numbers of transactions of all types;
(b) simplification and increasing efficiency of urban planning and the improvement of construction permitting and monitoring; and
(c) increase in revenue to the government and to municipalities that arise from the improvements listed above.
Holders of the Project were the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism and the Real Estate Administration of Montenegro.
This final Conference was attended by representatives of regional cadastral agencies, and Mr. Željko Obradović, director was present on behalf of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real - Property Affairs.
