NEW DIGITAL ORTHOPHOTO OF THE FEDERATION OF BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA AVAILABLE ON THE FGA GEOPORTAL

We are pleased to inform all users of geodetic and cadastral data of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs that the project of creating a new digital orthophoto has been successfully completed.

Citizens of the Bosnia and Herzegovina, business community, land administration sector and other institutions will benefit the most from Digital orthophoto, and the project was financed by the budget of the FBiH. New Digital orthophoto is the irreplaceable basis in tracking changes in space, urbanism and spatial planning, designing and project implementation in area of agriculture, waterpower engineering, forestry and environment protection. The orthophoto imagery were created on the basis of aerial recording of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the period August- October 2022.

The data are now available at the FGA Geoportal, and the Digital orthophoto from 2022 can be assigned by the FGA via standardized web services (WMS).
