Meeting of the IMPULSE project national coordinators and steering committee

The eleventh meeting of the IMPULSE project national coordinators and Steering Committee was held in Neum on 4 September 2019.

One of the most important topics was the consideration of the final text of Memorandum of Cooperation between Western Balkans Agencies for Cadastre, Cartography and Spatial Data Infrastructure, which will be signed on 5 September 2019, after the opening of the XII Regional Conference on Cadastre and Spatial Data Infrastructure. The signatories of this Memorandum are directors of the cadastral/mapping agencies and agencies responsible for implementation of the Spatial Data Infrastructure from Western Balkans.

Considering that the project comes to an end, it was discussed about the final workshop of the IMPULSE project in Banja Luka in mid-November this year, about the Action plan, about the planned national workshops and the contribution of regional agencies in designing a book on the IMPULS project. Mrs. Nina Geldadze Ekstedt, SIDA representative, addressed the participants and pointed out the importance of this project in the implementation of spatial data infrastructure in the Western Balkans region.

Host of this meeting was Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs led by Director, Mr. Željko Obradović, and Mrs. Slobodanka Ključanin attended as the IMPULSE project national coordinator.
