MEETING OF IMPULSE PROJECT NATIONAL COORDINATORS WAS HELD IN GÄVLE DURING FEBRUARY 21-22, 2017

In headquarters of Lantmäteriet - the Swedish Mapping, Cadastre and Land Registration Authority a meeting of IMPULSE project national coordinators was held. The meeting lasted two days. On the first day, February 21, 2017, coordinators have discussed information from the last IMPULS project Steering Committee that was held in Zagreb during December of last Year. In addition, development of new Action Plan of each Geodetic Administration for the period 2017-2018, and their inclusion in joint activities of IMPULS project were discussed. All these activities will be covered by remaining funds from the IMPULSE project budget. After defining activities and revision of remaining funds, methodology for IMPULSE project future activities monitoring was determined.

Since the duration of this Project is nearing the end, the possibility of a new Project that will include all geodetic administrations/agencies of the Western Balkans was considered. On the second day of meeting, coordinators have discussed importance of IMPULSE project outcomes realization, among which stands out establishment of a national service discovery, and agreeing on future steps related to establishment of a national geo-portals. In addition, the importance of maintaining current regional network after completion of IMPULSE project was emphasized.

The meeting ended with drafted plan for future national workshops and other events, and with the adoption of national coordinator’s meeting conclusions.

On this occasion, Dr. Slobodanka Ključanin - National Coordinator for IMPULSE project for the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina represented Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real-Property Affairs.
