Meeting held with representatives of the Independent trade union of civil servants and employees in the Institutions of the FBiH

On March 4, 2026, a meeting was held at the premises of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs between the Director of the Administration, Mr. Željko Obradović, together with his associates, and the President of the Independent Trade Union, Mr. Samir Kurtović, together with his associates.

The meeting addressed the activities and projects being implemented by the Federal Administration with the aim of improving and modernizing the land administration sector, particularly in the areas of surveying, the establishment of the real estate cadastre, cartography, as well as inspection supervision over cadastral and surveying activities.

It was emphasized that the geodetic profession in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is organized in a decentralized manner. In this context, Mr. Kurtović highlighted the need to strengthen the organization of the profession through the establishment of unified trade union organizations, with central organization within the Federal Administration.

Both sides expressed their readiness to improve dialogue and supported the idea of establishing a trade union organization within the Federal Administration. It was also agreed that in mid-March 2026 a presentation will be held at the premises of the Administration, during which employees will be introduced to the rights and benefits from trade union membership.
