On May 6, 2026, at Hotel Mepas in Mostar, the first legal training session for temporary land registry assistants engaged in the land registry offices of municipal courts in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina was held within the GIVE Project.
In addition to the temporary land registry assistants and representatives of the Federal Geodetic Administration, the workshop was also attended by heads of land registry offices and land registry officers.
The lecturer at the workshop was attorney Sanel Nezirić, who presented an overview of the regulatory framework governing land registry administration in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the basic principles of the systematic establishment and/or replacement of land registers, as well as the procedures carried out by land registry offices within these activities. The main challenges faced by courts in practice were also discussed, along with relevant case law examples.
Throughout the training, participants actively participated in discussions, asked questions, and exchanged experiences and examples of good practice. The importance of continuous professional development and capacity building for both temporary assistants and employees within the land registry administration was once again emphasized.
