Land consolidation project in Ravno Municipality

Director of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs, Mr. Željko Obradović has visited Ravno Municipality with a view to insight the land consolidation project in Popovo Polje. Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs is in cooperation with Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton and Ravno Municipality started the land consolidation project in Popovo polje, with an aim to create more favorable conditions for agricultural production in this area of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Ravno Municipality has recognised the advantage for their population in this activity, because the agriculture is most important for development of this municipality. Representative of the Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton Mr. Adelko Krmek and representative of the Cadastral Office of Ravno Municipality Mr. Dragan Proleta have presented done activities of the land consolidation project on Ravno Municipality. So far, in Popovo polje 450 hectares have included through land consolidation project.

Government of the Federation of BiH is additionally committed the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs that with additional financial resources stimulate the coordination of land consolidation projects in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is important to mention the realization of the land consolidation projects in the municipalities of Orašje and Odžak, where the pre-war activities on 6000 hectares of agricultural land have finished, and from this year are included Grude Municipality and City of Bihać.
