IMPULS WORKSHOP HELD AS PART OF INSPIRE – GEOSPATIAL WORLD FORUM CONFERENCE

As part of the INSPIRE – GEOSPATIAL WORLD FORUM conference and under the regional capacity building project in the field of spatial data infrastructure – IMPULS, in which the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs of FBH participates together with other cadastral agencies from the Western Balkans region and which is supported by the geodetic authority of the Kingdom of Sweden – Lantmäteriet and the State Geodetic Administration of the Republic of Croatia, a joint workshop was held to present the results achieved in the first year of the IMPULS Project. The plans and objectives desired to be met by the project were also presented, as follows: laying foundation for technical interoperability, dissemination of spatial data through services, spatial data sharing with other local and regional public institutions. The main values upheld by the IMPULS Project were highlighted, as follows: cooperation, coordination, transparency, and data sharing.

A representative of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs of FBH, Denis Tabučić (staff of the Department of Geoinformatics), who has a role of regionally responsible person for WP2 (Work Package 2 – Data Sharing Policy and Regulations), delivered on this occasion a presentation of the activities under the aforementioned work package.

This year's INSPIRE (Infrastructure for Spatial Information in the European Union) conference was organized in cooperation with the Geospatial World Forum and held under the name „INSPIRE – GWF 2015„ on 25-29 May 2015 in Lisbon, Portugal.
