Under the IMPULS Project, a seminar on the theme „Basic Knowledge, SDI and INSPIRE“ and the WP2 and WP3 workshops were hosted by the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs of FBH on 13 – 15 January 2015 in Sarajevo.

The objective of the aforementioned seminar was to provide all its participants with a platform of knowledge about the IMPULS Project, the European Inspire Directive, and spatial data infrastructure in general. The one-day seminar was held jointly for the participants of the working groups of the both packages, and the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs of FBH also took advantage of this opportunity to invite to the seminar the key stakeholders of the prospective spatial data infrastructure in FBH. Mr. Željko Obradović, Director of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs of FBH, opened the seminar and delivered a welcome presentation. In addition to the presentation by the Director of the Administration, the participants also had an opportunity to learn about how the Kingdom of Sweden and the Republic of Croatia established and implemented their spatial data infrastructures and get valuable information about the experience of the colleagues from the aforementioned countries that have made significant advances in the aforementioned fields. On this occasion, Mr. Denis Tabučić, staff of the Geoinformatics Department, presented to the participants the past, current, and planned activities of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs of FBH.

The participants of the WP2 work package worked through joint efforts during the workshop on defining how the data will be shared going forward on the regional level and the contents of the prospective data sharing agreements, while the participants of the WP3 work package worked in parallel during their workshop on identifying similarities and differences between the data sets, mapping data schemas, and interpreting the INSPIRE specifications. A training for operating the data manipulation tools was also held during the workshop.

On behalf of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs of FBH, the events were attended by:
