Within the IMPULS project, it is planned to hold National Workshops organized for topics of interest to the stakeholders and users of the Spatial Data Infrastructure of each particular Western Balkan country. Main topics of the IMPULS National Workshop of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs is Strengthening awareness of the importance of harmonizing spatial data. Within this topic, training of stakeholders of the Spatial Data Infrastructure for work on harmonization of their data is carried out in accordance with the INSPIRE specifications.
First day of the workshop, 28 June, was dedicated to the experiences of Sweden and Croatia in the field of harmonization of data on topics of hydrography and density of population (statistics). Special attention has been paid to how to read INSPIRE specifications and their implementation in practice. After that, there was a discussion among participants of the workshop.
On the second day of the workshop, 29 June, work on harmonization of data with selected data sets (hydrography and density of population) has continued. Harmonization was done on recommended open source software. The workshop ended with a discussion on the practice of harmonization, ie the creation of harmonization rules for the following INSPIRE topics: hydrography, population and demography, transport network and geology.
At the National Workshop of the IMPULS project of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs, attended representatives of the Agency for Watershed of the Adriatic Sea, Agency for the Sava River Basin, Agency for Statistics of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Federal Geological Institute and Public Company Roads of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The National Workshop was also attended by members of the IMPULS team of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs (Dr. Slobodanka Ključanin - National Coordinator of the IMPULS project for the FBiH, and Denis Tabučić, Nikola Cvjetković, Amira Babić, Tomislav Tomić, Enes Hatibović and Nedim Hadžiosmanović
