14th Regional Conference on cadastre and Spatial Data Infrastructure

14 Regional Conference on Cadastre and Spatial Data Infrastructure was held in Laško and Velenje, Slovenia in period of 20-22 September 2022 in the organization of the Slovenian Geodetic Administration.

Topic of the Conference was „Are we ready for future challenges? “and it brought together representative from ten cadastral agencies of the Western Balkan region, representatives of the geodetic administrations from Sweden and Netherlands, as well as representatives of Eurogeographics, UNGGIM, CLGE etc.

The conference consisted of two sessions with presentations of the representatives of region's cadastral and cartographic agencies, as well as presentations by international organizations and projects, and a series of meetings with representatives of donors and international associations were held.

Special attention was paid to the Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation in the Field of Cadastre, Topographic Survey and Cartography, Geodetic Networks and Spatial Data Infrastructure signed in 2019, which aims to strengthen regional cooperation and exchange of information and joint access to European Union funds and other financial and donor organizations.

At the end of the Conference an appropriate conclusions were adopted and the next Regional Conference will be held in 2023 in Serbia, organized by the Republic Geodetic Authority.
