FINAL MEETING OF BOTH ADMINISTRATIONS FOR GEODETIC AND REAL PROPERTY AFFAIRS REPRESENTATIVES AND WORLD BANK REPRESENTATIVES

Final meeting of the World Bank representatives and the Administrations representatives from both entities was held in premises of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs on 6 November 2018. The Director, Mr. Željko Obradović welcomed all participants and opened this meeting.

Leader of the Supervisory World Bank Mission Mr. Camile Bourguignon pointed out positive results of the RERP project and meaning of this project for land administration sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Topic of this meeting was additional financing the RERP project by the World Bank, and members of the World Bank team noted that there are good foundations for the project continuation, and in Federation of BiH the documentation for negotiations with the World Bank team is ready.

Members of the supervisory team have presented results and analyses of entity geodetic administrations regarding the Real Estate Registration Project in Bosnia and Herzegovina since the last Mission in May 2017. They were pointed out the Sales Price Register, Address Register, Digital Archive and good data quality. Also, they were pointed out good cooperation with Ministry of Justice and making of IT Strategy, and activities regarding Spatial Data Infrastructure. Special attention was given to the harmonization of data between the cadastre and the land registry, in Federation was finished 255 cadastral municipalities, area of 300 000 ha, establishment of the land registry books for 129 cadastral municipalities was done, and for 126 cadastral municipalities harmonization is still ongoing, and 71% of parcels were vectorized.

At the meeting it was pointed out that all activities are carried out in accordance with adopted and agreed plans, and mutual satisfaction with implementation level was expressed. Future activities and goals were also presented.
