Fifth Workshop on „Study of Property Valuation“ Held

A workshop was held under subcomponent 5.3 of the CILAP Project, entitled Study of Property Valuation, on 10-13 November 2014, in Vlašić.
The workshop was facilitated by the Component Leader on behalf of Lantmäteriet, who is also a property valuation expert, Mr. Hans Söderblom, and two regional experts, Mr. Dušan Mitrović from Slovenia, and Mme Marija Rašković from Serbia.
The theme of the fifth this year’s workshop was “Conclusions from the Pilot Areas”. The outcomes of the conducted market analyses were reviewed at the outset of the workshop, including summarization of relevant findings and information from the pilots. A proposal of the process and organizational models and price register data were discussed on the second day. A proposal of the structure of a document entitled Price Register Implementation Plan was presented by the experts in the workshop.

Plenty of new knowledge and information and many new lessons were imparted so far to the working group members, including information on other countries’ experience (Sweden, Serbia, and Slovenia). In addition to gain of experience from the pilot project, a working group had to be set up to take decisions relevant to development of the Price Register Implementation Plan. These decisions concern statistics, processes, organization, and data of the future price register, including definition of information flows, i.e., processes to collect required data.
According to the plan agreed in Vlašić, the working group will present early next year the Price Register Implementation Plan to the management of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs of FBiH.
